A tea-set cake for my tea drinking Mom. The teapot was a carrot cake with cream cheese filling and the little ones were plain yellow cake with cannoli fillings. I spread fig jam on the teacup cake to make it look like tea.
So lets have a tea party (not the political kind) and talk about all good things..... about being thankful for the bounty that God has bestowed us. If we start to catalog our blessings with the ocean water as ink--- all oceans will dry up and we still wont be done with listing our blessings.
WOW!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCANNOT believe this is EDIBLE BUT.. who would have the heart to eat (destroy) this GORGEOUS creation?
Farida
This cake perfectly reflects the talent and thoughtfulness of Neelum in every thing she does.
ReplyDeleteFirst I thought it was one of her paintings, till she nodded it was edible. The colors, contours, and class capture the look and feel of fine bone china.
Neelum's cakes and confection arise are truly a class of their own.
Thanks for sharing yourself through your gift of magical creations.

It's sacrilege to eat them!
ReplyDeleteLove it! This is perfect for any tea lover! But I wouldn't have the heart to cut it.
ReplyDelete- Amena :)
Wow. At first I was fooled. How talented. Fit for a royal!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mumtaz Vora.. :) It was fun to make this cake
DeleteNeelam, your talent is AMAZING -- not just in creating such a realistic tea set, but in the EXQUISITE floral patterns. LOVE the (delicate) handles.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your description is sooo YUMMY, I would have no trouble eating them YUMMMMMMM
